In the wild world of football drama, New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers found himself in the crosshairs of a CNN hit piece that seemed to conveniently drop just in time to cause a stir. According to this piece, Rodgers allegedly made comments over ten years ago suggesting that the tragic Sandy Hook massacre was somehow a government hoax. Oh boy, here we go again with the mainstream media trying to take down another conservative voice!

Now, RedState rightfully pointed out some major red flags in this so-called exposé. The only sources backing up these allegations were CNN reporter Pamela Brown and an anonymous individual who conveniently popped up out of thin air. Seriously, CNN, if you’re going to come at a respected football star like Rodgers, at least bring some concrete evidence to the table. But hey, who needs facts when you have a sensational headline, right?
And let’s not forget the timing of this hit piece. It’s no secret that CNN has had a bone to pick with Rodgers ever since he dared to speak out against the liberal propaganda machine. Coincidence? I think not. It’s clear that CNN is just trying to silence Rodgers and anyone else who dares to challenge their narrative.
But fear not, Rodgers didn’t take these baseless accusations lying down. He took to Twitter (because where else do you go for a good old-fashioned Twitter feud?) to set the record straight. He vehemently denied ever saying such outrageous claims about Sandy Hook and reiterated his deep sympathy for the families affected by the tragedy. Bravo, Rodgers, standing up to the fake news media like a true patriot!
Honestly, it’s no surprise that CNN would stoop so low to smear someone like Rodgers. Their credibility is about as stable as a Jenga tower after a few glasses of wine. So, until they can come up with some actual proof to back up their claims, I think it’s safe to say that Rodgers is in the clear. Keep on slinging those footballs, Aaron, and don’t let the fake news get you down!
