House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) has made some explosive claims regarding President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden. Comer suggested that the president may have used a fake email name to help secure a lucrative position for his son with a Ukrainian oligarch. These allegations came as a request was sent by Comer to the National Archives and Records Administration, asking for unrestricted access to unredacted emails and documents from Joe Biden’s time as vice president.
One email in particular, referenced in Comer’s request, mentioned a phone call with the former president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. Interestingly, this email was sent to “Robert L. Peters,” a name that has been reported as a pseudonym used occasionally by Joe Biden. Hunter Biden was also CC’d on the email. Comer believes that this indicates that Hunter was being used as a pawn to assure the Ukrainian oligarch that help was on the way.
The House Oversight chairman pointed to this evidence as proof that Joe Biden did not have a clear separation between his son’s business dealings and his role in government. According to Comer, Biden was keeping his son in the loop on foreign policy matters, indicating that “help is on the way” to protect the Ukrainian oligarch from corruption charges.
Comer argues that this pattern of behavior connects to previous whistleblower testimony and evidence of similar activity in Romania. He suggests that every day, more evidence is surfacing that shows a direct connection between Joe Biden and questionable dealings. In fact, Comer goes as far as to say that the emails and documents he is seeking are consistent with a quid-pro-quo arrangement in Ukraine, with Joe Biden at the center.
When inquired if these allegations against Joe Biden now include bribery and money laundering, Comer responded affirmatively. This is certainly a significant development if proven true, and it raises serious questions about the integrity of the Biden administration. It’s time for the Democrats and their media allies to stop dismissing these connections and start taking them seriously. The American people deserve the truth.
