Can you believe the audacity of the Department of Defense? In yet another shocking display of political correctness gone wrong, it has been revealed that transgender military members are exempt from fitness and weight standards. Yes, you read that right – while the rest of our brave soldiers are held to rigorous physical standards, these transgender individuals get a free pass.
Take Major Rachel Jones, for example. The U.S. Army is singing her praises for living “authentically” as a transgender female Soldier. But let’s call a spade a spade here. Jones is a man pretending to be a woman, and the Army is just lapping it up. Not only has Jones been violating Army regulations for over a decade, but now it seems he may also be exempt from all physical fitness and height-weight standards. Isn’t that just grand?
There’s even a Department of Defense transgender handbook that outlines this absurdity. According to this manual, transgender individuals are required to meet physical fitness standards based on their gender identity. However, if they can’t meet those standards, they can simply request a waiver. So now we’re giving waivers to people who can’t even adhere to basic physical requirements. Isn’t that special?
But here’s the kicker – this waiver isn’t just for a short time while someone recovers from an injury. No, it can last up to six months. So not only are these transgender individuals exempt from meeting height-weight standards, they can continue to avoid them indefinitely. It’s like a never-ending hall pass for laziness and lack of discipline.
What’s even more outrageous is that these waivers are being handed out for self-inflicted wounds. You heard that right. If a transgender individual undergoes surgery to alter their appearance, they become undeployable to austere environments or remote locations. Meanwhile, our brave men and women in uniform are being sent off to these dangerous places, while the Full Monty transgender folks get to sit back and relax.
You’ve spent 15 years enlisted in the military.
You’ve been on 8 combat tours, have a few KIA bracelets on your wrists, & you missed your 2nd child’s birth because you were overseas.

It’s time to put an end to this madness. President Trump had it right when he banned transgender individuals from serving in the military. We need leaders who prioritize our military’s efficiency and effectiveness, not those who cater to the whims and fancies of a small minority. Let’s go back to common sense and sanity. It’s time to make our military great again!
