In yet another bombshell revelation, Hunter Biden, the troubled son of President Joe Biden, has been embroiled in a tax-evasion probe known as “Sportsman” since November 2018. The investigation was launched by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as part of a larger investigation into a foreign-based online pornography platform. The Republican-led House Ways and Means Committee obtained closed-door testimony that was released recently, detailing some of the damning evidence against Hunter Biden.

The allegations against Hunter Biden are nothing new. Senate Republicans had published a report three years ago unearthing allegations of Hunter’s involvement in a foreign human-trafficking ring. The report claimed that Hunter had made several payments to Eastern European prostitutes in Russia and Ukraine. These revelations were confirmed by records that showed Hunter had sent thousands of dollars to nonresident alien women in the US who were citizens of Russia and Ukraine. Some of these transactions were linked to what appeared to be an Eastern European prostitution or human trafficking ring. Yet, the liberal media refused to report on these allegations.

Earlier this week, Hunter Biden struck a “sweetheart deal” with federal prosecutors, resulting in a “slap-on-the-wrist” plea agreement. Following this, IRS supervisory agent Gary Shapley Jr., one of two IRS informants, testified before Congress in a six-hour deposition. Shapley’s testimony detailed the investigation’s murky origins and alleged interference and claimed that Hunter Biden had received preferential treatment in the case. The US Attorney’s Office for the District of Delaware was accused of “slow-walking” the five-year-old case, which should not have been granted to ordinary Americans, according to Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith.
Hunter Biden’s alleged illicit activity is of significant concern to the American people. The preferential treatment that he allegedly received because of his wealthy and politically connected background rings alarm bells about how the wealthy and powerful operate. The Republican Party demands that the American people know the truth about irregularities in this case and are not on the same playing field as the wealthy and politically connected class.
In conclusion, it is time for the liberal mainstream media to stop ignoring Hunter Biden’s misdeeds simply because of his political connections and wealthy background, and it is time for the American people to learn the truth about how the wealthy and powerful operate.
