New report shows that a vast majority of Americans are against allowing transgender athletes to compete in sports according to their gender identity. In recent years, opposition to this radical stance has only increased, despite the Left’s repeated attempts to normalize sexual reassignment procedures for minors or obscure traditional gender distinctions. The report by Gallup shows that up to 69% of Americans believe that transgender athletes should only be allowed to compete in sports that align with their biological gender, rather than taken on the gender with which they identify. Similarly, there are an increasing number of people, up to 51%, who see “changing one’s gender” as more “morally wrong.”

It is noteworthy that none of the current bills passed or proposed by lawmakers in America affect transgenders’ access to education, employment, and standard health care. Adults who have decided to opt for sexual reassignment surgeries, hormone therapies, and other medical procedures are free to do so. However, the majority of Americans are concerned that minors cannot fully understand the complexities of gender and sexuality and should not be allowed to undergo hormone therapies or other irreversible medical procedures. Those who support this view believe that parents who allow their children to take such measures are guilty of child abuse.
Let’s face it, the Left is trying to normalise child mutilation, but most Americans are not fooled. The GOP is right to protect children and prohibit the use of sexual reassignment surgeries, hormone therapies, and any other related procedures for minors. After all, 6-year-olds cannot possibly grasp the complexities of gender and sexuality. According to the Gallup poll, most Americans think that allowing minors to take such measures is aberrant and akin to a horror movie.
Although the Left presents itself as the “party of science,” they continue to sacrifice logic on the altar of the woke culture. Arguably the most vocal group behind this campaign is the pro-woman feminist party, who claim to believe in “science” but are happy to erase the distinctive traits of femininity in favour of a small band of males masquerading as females. This viewpoint is nonsensical, and most people reject it outright.
Camille Paglia, a feminist who often challenges the status quo, identifies as transgender but has not transitioned. She acknowledges biological differences between the sexes, which is why she objects to the Left’s pursuit of gender-neutral ideals. While you may not agree with everything she says, she is a political giant and worth hearing out. Another literary giant, J.K. Rowling, is a trump card for the Left. Still, she is unwavering in her opposition to the transgender hysteria and believes that men and women are fundamentally different. Her stance has led to her banishment from the Left.
The truth is that testosterone does give athletes a significant advantage in sports, as evidenced by a transgender cyclist who finished five minutes ahead of the women’s race. It is ludicrous to believe that junk science claiming that testosterone does not provide any advantages is legitimate. Allowing transgender athletes to compete in sports according to their gender identity is unfair to women and girls, jeopardizes college access, and athletic scholarships. Onlookers must call out this nonsense and not allow the Left to obscure traditional gender distinctions.
