Tuesday’s White House press briefing was more chaotic than usual for Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. As a partisan and biased conservative republican news writer, it is clear that Jean-Pierre just can’t seem to get her act together when it comes to answering tough questions from journalists. During the briefing, she struggled to give adequate answers and even became combative at times. On Tuesday, Jean-Pierre found herself rattled, particularly when a trans “influencer” fondled his fake breasts at last Saturday’s Pride Celebration at the White House South Lawn.
The incident, which showed the progressive LGBTQ+ flag draped alongside the American flag, caused an uproar among conservatives. Jean-Pierre was forced to respond to a question from a journalist who asked if the White House would provide a code of conduct for future events. The press secretary reiterated the White House’s statement that the behavior was “unacceptable” and “disrespectful.” However, many believe that the White House’s statement and condemnation were merely a cover-up to keep up appearances.
The Biden administration has a history of encouraging children who may be experiencing gender dysphoria to undergo irreversible medical procedures, including genital mutilation and sterilization along with hormone therapy and puberty blockers. As this trans “influencer” was fondling his fake breasts, it was clear that the White House is more interested in promoting the LGBTQ+ agenda than in upholding traditional values.
Jean-Pierre’s strong defense of the incident only underscores the administration’s commitment to promoting an anti-American agenda. The press secretary even defended the administration for hanging the Pride flag next to the American flag, defending their move from rightful criticism. The administration’s preoccupation with promoting the LGBTQ+ agenda has led them to ignore adherence to basic protocols.
In addition to this, it has been revealed that Jean-Pierre has been found in violation of the Hatch Act. The Biden administration has claimed that they take the law seriously. Still, many members of the administration, including Jean-Pierre, Health & Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra, and then White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain, have violated it. It’s hard to believe that they truly “take the law very seriously.”
The press secretary tried to defend herself during the briefing, but her attempts fell flat. She missed the point regarding the Hatch Act’s limitations and tried to shift the blame by criticizing the previous administration. It’s clear that this White House is tone-deaf on many issues and incapable of doing the right thing when it comes to upholding American values.
The DOJ’s targeted prosecution of former and potentially future President Donald Trump, as well as pro-life Christian activists, only adds to the lack of trust in the administration’s supposed commitment to justice. The Department of Justice claims to be independent, but recent actions show otherwise. A recent ABC News/Ipsos poll showed that a plurality of respondents believe that the charges against Trump were politically motivated.
It’s clear that this administration is more interested in promoting an anti-American agenda than in upholding traditional American values. As conservatives, we must fight back against the constant erosion of our values by the progressive left.
