Lyudmila Navalnaya, Navalny’s mother, has been faced with a heart-wrenching dilemma as she resists intense pressure from authorities to consent to a hush-hush burial for her son. In a courageous video statement from Salekhard, she addressed the public, shedding light on the authorities’ attempt to coerce her into burying her son in secret, without the proper mourning ceremony he deserves.
