According to a video released by Project Veritas, a senior official at Pfizer said that the company is actively looking into ways to mutate COVID in order to develop new vaccines.
According to Jordon Walker, a senior research scientist at Pfizer, the company is exploring the possibility of genetically modifying COVID to create new vaccines. However, doing so could expose the company to a huge amount of risk.
In the video, the official, who is identified as Walker, says that the idea came up during a meeting. He then explains how it could be done.
The scientist explained that the process involved placing the virus in monkeys and then repeatedly infecting them with it. He also noted that they would have to be careful not to create a virus that could easily spread.
An undercover journalist then asked the scientist if the process was similar to gain-of-function research. He then noted that it was not.
The scientist said that the process was still in its early stages of development. He noted that the company did not want to publicize the details of the project.
Walker also noted that the collaboration between government and pharmaceutical companies has a positive influence on the industry. However, it is a negative one for everyone else in the country.
He then clarified that the company's scientists would no longer be subjected to harsh criticism once they leave their positions as regulators.
He also admits "COVID will probably be a cash cow for us for awhile going forward."

James O'Keefe of Project Veritas then addressed the questions about Walker's role at Pfizer. He noted that his group had verified Walker's participation in the company.
