Today, a jury of twelve found Richard “Alex” Murdaugh guilty on two counts of murder, including both his son and wife. Murdaugh was accused of shooting his son and wife to death at the crime scene, and admitted to lying to authorities during the investigation.

This verdict is a long time coming for the victims and their families. Murdaugh’s heinous actions have caused an immense amount of pain and suffering for those affected by this tragedy.
