Supreme Court Slams Harvard & UNC: Race-Based Admissions Crushed!

Yeehaw! Hold onto your hats, folks, ’cause the Supreme Court has just dropped a major bombshell! Last week, those wise and just judges ruled that Harvard University and the University of North Carolina are guilty of some serious monkey business when it comes to admissions. That’s right, their race-conscious policies, also known as “affirmative action,” have been deemed unconstitutional. Talk about a blow to the liberal agenda!

Now, this ruling wasn’t just some run-of-the-mill decision. Chief Justice John Roberts and his gang of conservative justices – Thomas, Alito, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett – all got together to write a powerful majority opinion. And let me tell you, it’s a real doozy! They basically said, “Hey Harvard and UNC, you’re cramping the Equal Protection Clause’s style. Your programs have no clear objectives, and you’re using race in a negative way. Plus, you’re stereotyping like it’s going out of style. We’ve never allowed that, and we won’t start now!”

But wait, there’s more! On Monday, three civil rights groups decided to rain on Harvard’s parade by suing the university over its so-called “legacy admissions” policy. According to these groups, which include the Chica Project, ACEDONE, and GBLN, this policy is downright discriminatory. They claim it’s giving preferential treatment to white students who have rich mommy and daddy connections.

And you know what? They might just be onto something. It turns out that a whopping 70% of Harvard’s legacy applicants are white. Did you hear that? Seventy percent! That’s a lot of privilege being handed out to people based solely on their family tree. Don’t get me wrong, folks. I’m all for tradition and family values, but when it comes to college admissions, it should be about merit, not last names or bank accounts.

To make matters worse, this unfair treatment is not based on an applicant’s qualifications. Nope, it’s all about who their parents are. Talk about a country club mentality! It’s no wonder that highly deserving applicants from diverse backgrounds are getting the short end of the stick. We’re living in the 21st century, folks. It’s time to move past these outdated practices and level the playing field.

Now, don’t think for a second that this is an isolated issue. Many other prestigious institutions have already seen the light and abandoned these legacy preferences. Colleges like the University of California, Johns Hopkins University, and Amherst College have all gotten with the program. It’s time for Harvard to follow suit and stop playing favorites.

In the aftermath of this groundbreaking Supreme Court decision, some Democrats, including President Joe Biden, have been calling for an end to legacy admissions. Well, it’s about time they start seeing things the conservative way! You see, folks, eliminating racial discrimination means eliminating ALL discrimination. It’s time to put an end to this legacy nonsense and judge applicants based on their own merits, not the achievements of their great-great-great-grandparents.

So, let’s raise a glass to the Supreme Court for standing up for equality and fairness. And let’s not stop there. It’s time for all colleges and universities, including Harvard, to leave these outdated practices in the dust. It’s time to give every deserving student a chance to shine, regardless of their family history. Yeehaw for equal opportunity!
