Exclusive video footage has been obtained by the Daily Caller showing the arrest of Linwood Michael Kaine, the son of Democratic Virginia Senator Tim Kaine, at an anti-Trump rally in Minnesota back in 2017. Kaine, who was just 25 at the time, was sentenced to probation in December of that year after actively participating in a protest against then-President Donald Trump that turned violent, with protests using smoke bombs, mace, and fireworks to disrupt the rally. Multiple attendees were treated by paramedics, and Kaine was caught running from officers before being arrested.

While Kaine originally was intended to serve a 90-day jail sentence, the judge ended up staying it for 86 days, leaving him only four days of actual serving time, according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch. Kaine was charged with three misdemeanors, including fleeing on foot, obstructing legal processes, and concealing his identity in a public place. Though two of these charges were dropped in December, Kaine did plead guilty to obstructing legal processes and interfering with a peace officer.
It is telling that Senator Kaine’s office did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller when asked about the video obtained through public records request. The silence from the senator’s office speaks volumes about how the left deals with their own caught in the act of breaking the law. The mainstream media, which would typically pounce on a story like this, has remained surprisingly silent – though that hasn’t stopped them from demonizing peaceful conservative protesters.
It seems like the left would much rather sweep stories like this under the rug, choosing instead to deflect and blame others for their own actions. Hopefully, more videos like this can be made available to the public so that we can see just how violent and dangerous liberal protests can be – and how the left quickly covers up and excuses it.
