The Salon One Market in Tacoma, Washington, ran by the ultimate tough guy, Naif Qatamin, took a stand against crime recently, and boy, oh boy, did it pay off. Despite being 70 years young, this fella wasn’t going to be pushed around by any two-bit crook trying to take what wasn’t theirs.

You see, according to a report from the always reliable KING-TV in Seattle, Qatamin’s store had been hit by robbers before, so much so that it wasn’t even worth it to raise an eyebrow. The real kicker here is that ever since this grizzled vet started stocking an offensively large knife behind the counter, he’s managed to avoid any further incidents. That is, until February 5.
On that fateful day, a crook tried to get the best of our hero, holding up the store with a puny little knife. The audacity! Qatamin wasn’t having any of it, though. Instead of getting out the cash, he decided it was time to bring out the big guns, or should I say, the big machete.
A scene straight out of a Hollywood movie, Qatamin whipped out his machete like a Rambo in the making. As the surveillance cameras rolled, the suspect regretted his life decisions and scrambled to get outta there quick – but not before Qatamin’s wife stepped in and saved the day.
The suspect was eventually tracked down by the Tacoma police, but that wasn’t the end of the story. Oh no, not by a long shot. This villain came back for more! Can you even believe it? He returned to the scene of the crime, threatening to rob and kill Qatamin. The audacity! But just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse, the man was arrested AGAIN after trying to stick it to our fearless protector.
Believe it or not, this isn’t the first time Qatamin has had to use his machete. It’s been sitting behind the counter for years just waiting for a chance to shine, and finally, its time had come. It’s a scary world out there, folks, and if there’s anything we can learn from this story, it’s that you gotta be ready to protect yourself and your business at all costs.
