When the folks at the Washington Examiner asked their trusty editorial team to break down why President Joe Biden is suddenly showing interest in the border crisis, Commentary Editor Conn Carroll and Investigations Editor Sarah Bedford didn’t hold back. They pondered the possibility of ole Joe being able to turn around the not-so-great way he’s been dealing with the border. And, of course, they didn’t forget to consider what it would take for former President Donald Trump to fix the mess if he gets himself reelected.
Carroll and Bedford didn’t mince words about a few things. They made it clear that Biden is only now poking his head into the border chaos because the situation is spinning out of control faster than Biden can say “where am I?”. They also pointed out that old Joe may have a tough time convincing folks that he’s got what it takes to mend the border mess, especially after the way he’s been dropping the ball left and right.
As for Trump, Carroll and Bedford didn’t pull any punches there either. They made it crystal clear that if Trump makes a comeback, he’s gonna have a heck of a job on his hands trying to untangle the web of problems that Biden’s administration has woven at the border. But hey, if anyone can do it, it’s gotta be The Donald, right?
