Last Tuesday, in an interview with Univision, President Joe Biden caused quite the stir when he discussed the possibility of using his executive powers to shut down the border. Now, anyone with half a brain knows that the president doesn’t have the power to just snap his fingers and close the border, but that didn’t stop ol’ Joe from entertaining the idea. When asked if he had made a final decision on taking executive action to shut down the border, Biden responded with all the confidence of a goldfish in a shark tank, saying, “We’re examining whether or not I have that power. I would have that power under the legislation, but there’s no guarantee that I have that power all by myself without legislation.”
Biden thinks everybody forgot that Trump shut down the border.
