In the latest example of clueless Democrat economic policy, President Joe Biden has trotted out a massive tax and spend proposal that is about as believable as a unicorn prancing through the White House. Can you believe this guy is asking for a whopping $5.5 trillion in tax hikes while planning to splash that cash on federal benefits programs, affordable housing, and even the ludicrous idea of canceling student loans (aka sticking taxpayers with the bill)? Yeah, because spending our way to prosperity has worked so well for every country in history, right?

The cherry on top of this budget boondoggle is that it totals a mind-boggling $7.3 trillion. That’s trillion with a ‘t’, folks. But fear not, this outlandish proposal has about as much chance of passing as a snowball surviving in an active volcano. Seriously, trying to throw money at problems is the oldest trick in the book for Democrats, and the results are always the same – a big, fat failure.
When not busy dreaming up fairy tales, the Biden administration is busy huffing and puffing about raising taxes on the wealthy, while conveniently ignoring the fact that their ‘tax the rich’ schemes never work out as planned. The so-called progressive agenda of Biden is simply code for ‘more taxes, more spending, and more government control.’ It’s like a broken record stuck on repeat.
But hold onto your wallets, folks, because things are about to get even crazier. Biden’s plan includes jacking up the corporate tax rate to a staggering 28 percent, basically punishing businesses for, well, being successful. And let’s not forget his ridiculous claim that billionaires are getting away with an 8.2% tax rate. Yeah, and pigs can fly.
It’s clear that Biden and his band of merry Democrats are living in a fantasy land where facts are optional and spending other people’s money is a hobby. As the Republicans rightly point out, this budget proposal is a one-way ticket to financial ruin for America. So, buckle up, folks, because the crazy train of excessive spending and reckless tax hikes is showing no signs of slowing down under the Biden administration. Who knew that fiscal responsibility was such a foreign concept in Washington these days?
