President Joe Biden is at it again with his grand plans, this time for infrastructure investments. Or at least that’s what it feels like, considering Biden’s inability to speak English properly. Seriously, you would think that as the leader of the free world, he would be able to string a coherent sentence together. But hey, who needs proper grammar when you’re spending other people’s money, right?

Now, let’s talk about Biden taking the opportunity to bash our beloved former President, Donald J. Trump. Biden claims that Trump failed to invest in our country’s infrastructure during his time in office. But let me remind you, my friends, that under Trump’s leadership, we saw a rebuilding of America like never before. His infrastructure plan focused on investing $200 billion in Federal funds to spur over a trillion dollars of additional investments from other sources. That’s smart business right there.
But what has Biden done? Oh, he’s promised billions and trillions again, this time for rail travel along the Northeast Corridor. Sounds nice, doesn’t it? Well, hold your horses because there’s a catch. Those extended deadlines and cost overruns are causing major headaches and delays. It’s like watching a train wreck in slow motion. And guess who’s footing the bill for this disaster? That’s right, you and me, the hardworking taxpayers who just want our country to be great again.
But wait, there’s more. Let’s not forget about California’s high-speed rail project, which Biden seems to be a big fan of. This boondoggle has been funded by federal grants, state bonds, and revenue from a cap-and-trade climate program. Yet, surprise, surprise, it’s still nowhere near being completed and is already costing way more than initially estimated. It’s no wonder that even some California Republicans are scratching their heads and questioning Biden’s judgment on this one.
