Joe Biden’s flip-flopping on border security is a prime example of political hypocrisy. Selling off parts of the border wall while Republicans are trying to rebuild it and secure our borders is a slap in the face to all Americans who believe in the importance of national security. And let’s not forget, Biden himself once boasted about his commitment to the border. In 2006, he proudly declared that he voted for a fence and recognized the dangers of an open border. Fast forward to today, and Biden is more interested in dismantling the wall than protecting our country.
The fact that Biden is selling the material for the panels on the southern border is just another insult to injury. These panels were part of the barriers that Donald Trump built to keep our country safe. But Biden terminated those building projects and dismissed them as a “waste of money.” Well, Mr. President, I think most Americans would agree that national security is worth the investment.

But it’s not just the selling of the materials that is concerning. It’s the border crisis that Biden’s policies have created. Record numbers of illegal immigrants are now crossing our southern border, and law enforcement is overwhelmed. Border Patrol agents are apprehending nearly 1,300 people a day in El Paso alone. And what is Biden doing about it? Avoiding the problem and ignoring the calls to visit the border. Apparently, there are “more important things” going on according to him. Well, I can’t think of anything more important than protecting our country from illegal immigration and drug smuggling.
It’s clear that Biden’s approach to immigration is failing. His Homeland Security Secretary even believes that being in the country illegally no longer warrants removal. This is a complete disregard for the rule of law and the safety of American citizens. We need strong border security, and we need a president who is willing to prioritize the safety and security of our nation. Unfortunately, we have neither with Joe Biden in the White House.
