Civil War Deaths Manipulated to Justify Trump Ban? Dive Deeper!

In an interview with MSNBC’s “Deadline,” former Assistant U.S. Attorney Andrew Weissmann made a bold statement about ex-President Donald Trump. He argued that since Americans lost their lives during the Civil War, it is unacceptable for leaders who participated in insurrection, like the recently discovered actions of Trump, to be allowed to run for public office.

This comment from Weissmann echoes the sentiment of many on the left who are still fixated on blaming Trump for everything under the sun. It was the Democrats who started the impeachment circus and failed miserably in their attempt to remove him from office not once, but twice.

While Weissmann’s opinion might appeal to the far left, it is important to recognize that our justice system operates on the principle of innocent until proven guilty. Accusations alone should not be enough to disqualify anyone from seeking public office. We must respect the legal process and allow the facts to be presented before making any judgment.
