Adam Schiff, the top-ranking Democrat in the House of Representatives, said something that made sense. He defended Israel and talked about how they constantly face threats and attacks. He also claimed that the Jewish state is the only true democracy within the Middle East.
If only Adam Schiff could see the light at the end of the tunnel regarding the two-state solution, we might be able to get somewhere. Unfortunately, the PLO doesn't want peace.

In this episode of The Squad, we'll discuss why Adam Schiff made these statements in the first place. On Sunday, Pramila Jayapal, the head of the Progressive Caucus, called Israel a racist country. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy responded to Jayapal's statement by bringing the House together to discuss three important issues.
Contrary to popular belief, Israel is not an apartheid state or racist. Also, Congress does not support anti-Semitism or xenophobia. The US is an ally of Israel.
The usual suspects of The Squad voted against this resolution, as they couldn't help but think of ways to justify their anti-Semitic statements. Even though there were some Democrats, such as Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who criticized Jayapal, it's not the first time they've shown this type of prejudice.
Adam Schiff and other prominent Democrats were commended for speaking out against their liberal colleagues. This is a good sign, though it's possible that it's just a political maneuver. Also, it's beginning to look like the Democratic coalition is starting to break down.
In addition, let us not forget that the US consistently supports the Jewish people and Israel. George Washington wrote a letter to the Jewish people defending this support. The words that Congress has passed are a step in that direction. It shows that the US will not tolerate anti-Semitism.
