Could RFK Jr. be the Secret Weapon for Trump’s 2024 Victory?

The 2024 presidential campaign has already begun and a promising vice presidential nominee has just emerged. Roger Stone, the political consultant, lobbyist, and strategist, suggested that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. could be a significant contender in the upcoming election. Kennedy’s longstanding environmental activism and his family’s political legacy have made him a perfect fit for the position. If Kennedy does perform better than expected, Stone urged former President Trump to consider drafting Kennedy as the Republican vice-presidential nominee for a bipartisan unity ticket—now that’s a dream ticket!

Despite being a Democrat, Kennedy is well-known for being a critique of the Left at times. Benghazi, Ebola, and now COVID-19 have exposed the Democrats’ incompetence and weakness in governing. Stone believes that Kennedy could garner as much as a third of the vote, proving that he is a force to be reckoned with. Many voters would welcome a break from the Biden administration’s fumbling foreign policy and the implication of the collapse of US economic dominance.

It is worth noting that Kennedy and Donald Trump were good friends prior to Trump’s elevation to the presidency. Kennedy’s concerns regarding the link between vaccinations and autism were something that Trump found common ground with. In fact, Trump promised RFK the appointment of a balanced blue-ribbon commission to study and report to the President on the safety and effectiveness of vaccinations. A bond like that would make Kennedy a perfect VP nominee for the Republican party.

The selection of RFK as the Republican vice-presidential candidate would also silence those within the Republican Party who are today critical, in retrospect, of Trump’s handling of the Covid-19 pandemic. With a formidable partnership between Trump and Kennedy, America’s state of peril would be resolved. Stone says that one thing is certain—the selection of RFK would create a bridge for thousands of Democrats and Independents to vote for Trump.

While it is uncertain whether Trump would consider Kennedy as a potential running mate, Stone believes that the benefits of the partnership far outweigh any political challenges. The American people deserve leaders who can govern and will make a positive impact on the country. RFK and Trump are both committed to that goal, and they would make a formidable team.
