Florida Governor Ron DeSantis hit the nail on the head when he pointed out the dire situation in San Francisco and the problems it’s facing during his visit to California. Unlike what San Francisco Mayor London Breed suggested, climate change and AI would not solve many of the pressing issues in the city, such as homelessness, crime, and high living costs.

Breed’s interview where she failed to counter DeSantis’s comments made it seem like she was essentially proving his point. San Francisco is a stark contrast to what DeSantis has achieved in Florida, where former California residents have relocated thanks to low taxes, better job prospects, and fewer restrictions. If we need to “restore sanity” to our cities and country, then we know which direction to look to.
