GOP Candidates Rally: Trump’s Indictment a Lib-Driven Witch Hunt!

With the sudden arrest of former President Donald Trump on Thursday by the Biden Department of Justice (DOJ), the Democrats' witch hunt has taken a disturbing turn. Even though some of Trump's rivals have criticized him, other Republican candidates have come out in support of him and agreed that he is being unfairly targeted by a justice system that has become too political.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who is Trump's closest poll competitor, made a speech that was full of hope. He said that he would destroy the weak efforts of those who want to use the law to treat different sides differently. DeSantis and other candidates who are running in the single digits also criticized the charges, saying that they were a death sentence for a free society and that Trump should be treated as innocent until proven guilty.

On the other hand, Asa Hutchinson, the former governor of Arkansas, said again that Trump should not run. Maybe Hutchinson should take care of his own problems before he says anything else about this case.

Mike Pence asked Attorney General Merrick Garland to hold a press meeting and tell the American people why he was going to bring charges against Trump. Pence's words have a lot of political weight because he is Trump's vice president and has been in that position for a long time.

Chris Christie, the former governor of New Jersey and a close friend of Trump's who started his campaign this week, said that no one is above the law, no matter how much they want to be. This sentence is a warning to the people of the United States that justice must be fair and that the law doesn't care about who you are.

Tim Scott, a Republican from South Carolina, was very upset that the Lady of Justice didn't have a hood on. As President of the United States, he would get rid of all the unfairness and corruption in the system, so that every American can be sure that their rights will be respected and that they will get a fair hearing.

Vivek Ramaswamy, a tech entrepreneur who has campaigned in early states and made himself look like a scrappy outsider in the race, brought attention to the fact that the justice system seems to have two different sets of rules. He pointed out that there seems to be one rule for BLM rioters and Antifa and another for peaceful January 6th protesters, Chelsea Manning, and Julian Assange. Now, it looks like Joe Biden, who also breaks rules about document retention and classified documents, is held to a different standard than President Trump.

In the end, the Republican candidates for president are solidly behind former President Trump, who was wrongly accused. They all think that Trump is being unfairly picked on in a move that is obviously political. In true Republican style, they want the law to be applied the same way to everyone and for everyone to have the same rights, no matter what their social status is.
