A big win for the conservative side! A federal judge has put the brakes on the Biden administration’s misguided border policy regarding asylum seekers. Judge Jon Tigar, a man of reason and logic, has ruled that this regulation will be put on hold for two weeks to give the conservative side a chance to appeal. Finally, someone with a level head who sees the importance of protecting our borders!
Let’s take a closer look at the details, shall we? This new rule was implemented as a replacement for the public health pandemic policy that was set to end in mid-May. Everyone knew that once Title 42 was gone, we would be facing a flood of illegal immigrants. The Biden administration and even lawmakers from both parties acknowledged that there could be up to 18,000 illegal immigrant arrests per day. That’s absolutely mind-boggling! Thank goodness Judge Tigar stepped in to stop this madness.

The rule that has been blocked gave the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) the power to prevent entry to individuals without subjecting them to lengthy court proceedings. It was a smart move to prevent people from just waltzing into our country and being released into the United States. We need to have some control over who comes in and out of our borders, don’t you think?
The Biden administration claimed that this rule was part of their strategy to deal with the end of Title 42. They wanted to discourage irregular migration and encourage migrants to use legal pathways. But honestly, who believes that? We all know that Biden’s border policies have been an absolute disaster from day one. The numbers speak for themselves – over 5 million migrants have crossed our southern border in less than three years. And that’s only after a partial border wall was put in place to deter illegal immigration. Imagine what would happen without any border security!
Now, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and other groups are arguing that this rule violates some obscure U.S. law. They claim that it infringes on the right to asylum, regardless of how someone enters the country. But let’s be real here. These groups just want to exploit our laws to allow migrants to seek protection in the United States, even if they haven’t followed the proper procedures. It’s not fair to our country or to the migrants who are patiently waiting their turn to enter legally.
As we move forward, we must remember that the border issue will continue to be a hot topic. Biden’s weak leadership in protecting our nation’s security has put us all at risk. It’s clear that we need someone who prioritizes the safety and well-being of American citizens in the White House. Let’s keep fighting for strong borders and common-sense immigration policies. Our country deserves nothing less
