KJP Dodges Questions, Spouts Job Stats Instead!

Once again, the White House is spewing their empty rhetoric about job creation and wages. During Tuesday’s press briefing, Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre arrogantly boasted about the economy, completely ignoring the actual question that was asked about systemic racism. This administration has a knack for avoiding the tough questions and instead bragging about their supposed accomplishments.

Jean-Pierre managed to pivot the conversation to the economy, even though the topic at hand was systemic racism. She mentioned how the economy was in bad shape when Biden took office and how they supposedly turned it all around with their big government spending. But let’s not forget that it was the Democrats who kept schools closed and colluded with the teachers unions on the issue. They claim to care about the economy and education, but their actions speak louder than their empty words.

Of course, Jean-Pierre couldn’t resist touting the American Rescue Plan Act, conveniently leaving out the fact that it has led to skyrocketing inflation. It’s laughable that she celebrates inflation rates when even Democratic economists like Larry Summers have warned about the consequences of such massive government spending.

And let’s not forget the false claim that the Biden administration has “created more than 13 million jobs.” These jobs were not created; they were merely people returning to work after being forced out by the pandemic. And despite the repeated claims that wages are up, the government’s own data shows that they have not kept up with inflation. Under Biden, inflation-adjusted average hourly earnings have actually decreased.

But enough about the economy, let’s talk about the racial issues that Jean-Pierre finally got around to mentioning. Biden loves to talk about systemic racism and racial injustices, but his actions speak louder than his words. Just look at his stumble over Emmett Till’s name during a recent speech. It’s clear that his commitment to racial justice is nothing more than performative.

When pressed for clarification on whether Biden thinks we are still a racist country, Jean-Pierre once again evaded the question and repeated her talking points about equity. It’s always the same empty platitudes with this administration. They claim to care about racial injustices, but what have they actually done to address them?

In the end, it’s no surprise that the White House resorts to promoting their failed economic policies when they can’t answer a simple question. It’s a desperate attempt to distract from their lack of real accomplishments. But the American people deserve better than catchy buzzwords and empty promises. They deserve a president who actually delivers on his commitments and addresses the real issues facing our country. Unfortunately, that’s something we’re not getting with this administration.
