Veteran theater actress and C-list celebrity Patti Lupone recently appeared on the highly liberal talk show “The View” to discuss her new Marvel TV gig and her disdain for the “Christian right,” which she claims is no different from the Taliban. During the segment, Lupone expressed her disgust for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’s signing of the Heartbeat Protection Act, which bans infanticide after an unborn child’s heartbeat is detected. “I could cry… I don’t know why he’s doing this,” Lupone whined.
Lupone went on to claim that the Christian right is just as dangerous as the Taliban, insisting that she has “no idea” what the difference is between the two. When co-host Whoopi Goldberg agreed with her, Lupone repeated her ridiculous claim. “What’s happening in the country now in the name of religion is dangerous,” she exclaimed.

Lupone’s comments were met with praise from the far-left co-hosts on “The View,” including Sunny Hostin, who told Lupone that “that’s why we need people like you.” However, Lupone’s rhetoric was truly disgusting and offensive to millions of Americans who hold Christian values.
It’s not surprising to see a Hollywood elitist like Lupone spew such venomous remarks against Christian people, who are often mocked and ridiculed in Hollywood and the mainstream media. It’s time to stand up against this kind of hate speech and defend the values that make America great.
