Conservatives are criticizing Joe Biden for the loss of thousands of unaccompanied minors who crossed the border into the US. Fox Business Network's Sean Duffy criticized the president for what he referred to as an immoral policy, as well as the way some of the young people were being exploited by cartels.
During a hearing regarding the crisis involving unaccompanied immigrant children, Tara Rodas, a DHS employee, explained that the agency's vetting process for sponsors of these minors was not being carried out properly. She also noted that some of the young children were working with drug cartels to pay back their debts. According to Congressman Sean Duffy, the policy is the most inhumane and unseemly of its kind in the history of the United States.
In Central America, a human trafficker claimed that some of the missing migrants had their organs stolen by drug lords. The US government announced that it would deploy 1,500 troops to help address the situation. However, it's not yet clear if this move will help solve the issue.
According to data released by US Customs and Border Protection, over 1.2 million immigrants were apprehended at the border between the US and Mexico in the last fiscal year. Also, over 600,000 people were able to evade authorities. The situation is significantly different from the previous year, when only 458,088 migrants were apprehended.

Despite Biden's claims that he takes care of children, the media gave the administration a pass on the issue. Conservatives are now calling on both Kamala Harris and Joe Biden to be held accountable for their security measures. They also demanded that the government take immediate action to protect the children.
