Biden Taps Obama, Clooney for Major LA Fundraiser Amid Campaign Cash Surge

The Biden campaign is planning a big fundraiser in Los Angeles next month with the help of some famous names such as former President Barack Obama, George Clooney, and Julia Roberts. The stars will be using social media to attract grassroots donors and their names will be featured in campaign emails and texts.

This event comes as both Mr. Biden and former President Donald Trump are trying to raise as much money as possible for their campaigns. The Biden campaign recently reported that they raised over $90 million in March, with more than $192 million in cash on hand. This is a greater amount than the $93.1 million the Trump campaign and Republican National Committee had on hand entering April. Mr. Trump’s campaign and the RNC brought in a combined $65.6 million in March.

The Biden campaign has previously teamed up with former presidents to help raise funds. In March, Mr. Obama and former President Bill Clinton participated in a fundraiser at Radio City Music Hall that brought in over $25 million. Another fundraising event is also in the works with Mr. Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sometime early this summer.

The Biden campaign is working hard to raise a significant amount of money with the help of these high-profile figures.
