In a cringe-worthy performance in Kiev, Secretary of State Antony Blinken joined a Ukrainian band to play Neil Young’s “Rockin’ in the Free World.” While Blinken’s guitar skills weren’t too bad, his singing voice left much to be desired. But hey, at least he had the guts to get up on stage and try.

Let’s be real here, folks. Blinken’s choice of song is quite ironic considering the current state of affairs under the Biden administration. While Blinken sings about rocking in a free world, the reality is that the Biden regime is far from championing freedom. With heavy censorship of dissenting voices and attacks on basic rights like gun ownership, many Americans don’t feel like they’re living in a free world.

It’s also worth noting that Neil Young, the original singer of the song, has turned into just another left-wing conformist. Despite the song’s rebellious roots, Young’s actions, like boycotting Spotify over Joe Rogan, show he’s just following the same old script as his Hollywood pals. How’s that for being a rebel?
So, as Blinken strums his guitar in Ukraine, let’s not forget the real issues at hand. While the performance may have been cringey, the bigger concern is the erosion of freedom and the rise of leftist conformity. It’s time to rock for real freedom, not just sing about it on stage.
