A report stated that a male cyclist in New York City was seen on video attacking Jewish children on Sunday night. The children were wearing traditional Jewish clothing. The New York City Police Department confirmed that there was an additional victim not shown in the video. The cyclist is seen in the footage approaching the children on the sidewalk, pushing one to the ground, kicking them, and then running away.
According to the police, the victim suffered a minor head injury from being pushed to the ground. The suspect fled the scene and no arrests have been made yet. The NYPD also mentioned another incident where a cyclist attacked a Jewish father and son in the same area. This news comes amidst a rise in antisemitic acts globally following an attack by Hamas in Israel, resulting in the deaths of 1,200 people and over 200 being taken captive.
