Following the United States Supreme Court's ruling that there is no constitutional right to abortion, there has been a surge in assaults on churches and pregnancy care centers. According to reports on Life News, more than 250 such occurrences were documented last year, spanning from acts of arson to vandalism such as broken windows. A radical pro-abortion organization known as Jane's Revenge has claimed responsibility for several of these attacks, declaring an "open season" on pro-life supporters.
A coalition of conservative organizations is taking legal action to obtain documents from the Department of Justice related to the surge in pro-abortion attacks on churches and pro-life pregnancy centers and a lack of prosecution from the agency. https://t.co/TLLf064EDQ

The Department of Justice (DOJ) is facing a lawsuit filed by two conservative organizations, the Heritage Foundation and Advancing American Freedom, for allegedly concealing information about the attacks on churches and pregnancy care centers. They have accused the Biden administration of disregarding their requests for information under the Freedom of Information Act.

Advancing American Freedom's general counsel, J. Marc Wheat, issued a statement on the Biden administration's inability to provide information about the situation. Wheat believes that the administration's Department of Justice is concerned about provoking the anger of the far left and abortion extremists, stating that "It is evident that President Biden's politically motivated DOJ is hesitant to incite the rage of these groups."
The DOJ has, however, made a point of targeting pro-life activists. Recently, Pennsylvania resident Mark Houck was acquitted of breaking the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act. He was charged following an altercation outside a Philadelphia Planned Parenthood clinic.
The director of the Heritage Foundation Oversight Project, Mike Howell, has claimed that the Department of Justice (DOJ) has a dual standard regarding crimes related to abortion. He argues that the DOJ does not prosecute those who violently assault pro-life groups and instead targets pro-life Americans by arresting and pressing false charges against them.
The public deserves to know why individuals who have vandalized and set fire to pregnancy centers have not been held responsible for their violent acts against pro-life organizations and traditional conservatives. It is essential for the Biden administration to prioritize the protection of churches and pregnancy care centers and address the Freedom of Information Act requests submitted by the two conservative groups who have expressed concern about these attacks.
