Mayorkas Waffles on Funding for Troubling Catch and Release Program

The other day on Fox News, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas had the gall to ask for more money for his agency. Can you believe it? This guy wants to throw even more of our hard-earned tax dollars at a department that continues to fail at its core duty of securing our borders.

But here’s the kicker – when asked if he would accept a condition that the funds couldn’t be used to release migrants into the country, he conveniently dodged the question. It’s clear that Mayorkas is more interested in appeasing the open-borders crowd than actually doing his job.

I mean, come on. We elected a president who promised to take a tough stance on immigration, and what do we get? A secretary who talks a big game but won’t back it up with action. It’s time for someone to step up and hold these bureaucrats accountable.

It’s clear to any conservative thinker that throwing more money at the Department of Homeland Security is just a Band-Aid solution. We need real change, real leadership, and a commitment to enforcing our laws. Mayorkas, like many in the Biden administration, doesn’t seem to understand that.

So here’s a suggestion for Mayorkas: if you want more money, start showing real results. Secure our borders, stop the flow of illegal immigrants, and maybe then we can talk about funding. Until then, the American people shouldn’t have to foot the bill for your failure.
