In her first interview since her husband was attacked, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi referred to the incident as an attack.
Anderson Cooper, the CNN host, did not ask hard questions during his interview with the media. He merely asked if the attack on January 6 was similar to what happened to her husband. During her interview with Cooper, she quickly responded to his question and referred to the attacker as a copycat.
Anderson: "Do you draw the same line [between the assault on your husband and January 6]?
Pelosi: "Absolutely. No question. It's the same thing. A copycatter." pic.twitter.com/niZqISI9jm

During his interview, Cooper started by asking softball questions. He then asked Pelosi if she had talked about the incident with her husband.
When asked if she had talked about the incident with her husband, she quickly sidestepped the question. She stated that they haven’t had a chance to talk about it yet due to the traumatizing nature of it.
Anderson: "Has [Paul] been able to talk to you about what he was thinking when he woke up and saw this person in the room?"
Pelosi: "We haven’t quite had that conversation because any revisiting of it is really traumatizing." pic.twitter.com/Jqziyp4ViV

Cooper then asked Nancy if she would like to hear the 911 call made by her husband, Paul.
When asked if she would talk about the incident with her husband, she said she didn’t think so. She also stated that she doesn’t know if she would have to.
Her response shows that Elon Musk was right and that “there’s more to this story than meets the eye.”
