In the great state of Ohio, a battle is brewing among Republicans vying for the opportunity to challenge vulnerable Democratic incumbent Sherrod Brown in the upcoming Senate race. With the Ohio Republican Primary just around the corner, businessman Bernie Moreno, Secretary of State Frank LaRose, and state Sen. Matt Dolan are all in the ring, duking it out for their shot at victory.
But hold onto your hats, folks, because things are getting heated! The Buckeye Values PAC recently took aim at Secretary of State Frank LaRose, claiming he’s “too liberal” on social issues and “you can’t trust him.” The ad has been making waves, catching the attention of none other than Donald Trump Jr. himself, who, along with his pops, has thrown their support behind Bernie Moreno. They’re not holding back, either, calling out LaRose as “leftwing” and “pro-trans.” Yikes!

The ad digs up some juicy tidbits about LaRose, like how he’s been cozying up to groups like Equality Ohio and lending his support to LGBTQ+ equality. They even go as far as to highlight his past support for public funding for Planned Parenthood. Gasp! It’s pretty clear the ad is out to paint LaRose as someone who can’t be trusted to hold true conservative values.
But hold on a minute, because the plot thickens! LaRose’s team isn’t taking these punches lying down. Ouch! That’s gotta sting.
