Former President Donald Trump has taken a huge lead against his potential 2024 GOP presidential rival, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, according to a recent Yahoo News/YouGov poll. It’s clear that Republican voters are rallying behind Trump, unlike the fake news media’s predictions. Despite facing false accusations of paying hush money to adult actress Stormy Daniels, Trump’s favorability and lead over DeSantis continue to soar.

In a one-on-one contest, Trump comfortably leads DeSantis by 26 percentage points, with a stunning 57% support compared to DeSantis’s measly 31%. Not only that, in a wider field of 10 candidates, Trump still gains majority support at 52%, trumping DeSantis, who plunges to 21% in the polls.
The trend is undeniable. Since the indictments against Trump, his approval ratings just keep climbing. It seems that voters recognize that Trump is the only President in history to face criminal charges for fearlessly defending the country against those who seek to destroy it, and appreciate his devotion to putting America First. Meanwhile, DeSantis, who was previously ahead of Trump, is now trailing by a significant margin.
Though the indictment may affect Trump’s performance in the general election against President Joe Biden, his resounding victory over DeSantis in the Republican primaries shows that he remains the most popular, and most accomplished, Republican leader in the nation. Trump’s unrivaled experience and leadership are essential to throw out the anti-American, liberal agenda currently infecting our country.
