Zakaria pointed out the hypocrisy of the left, reminding viewers of former President Bill Clinton’s perjurious behavior and MSNBC’s lack of repercussions. He also called out the appearance of Stacey Abrams, who contested the results of her own election, on the liberal network.
Zakaria argued that McDaniel should not be punished for her past assertions about the 2020 election, emphasizing that around 85 million Americans share similar doubts. He questioned the liberal stance on free speech, highlighting the unfair treatment of those who express opposing views. He warned of the consequences of using oppressive tactics to achieve liberal goals, referencing his own book’s examination of historical progress and regression.
