In a scathing takedown of President Joe Biden, billionaire hedge fund honcho Bill Ackman did not hold back his feelings about the current administration. Declaring that Biden’s time in the Oval Office is over, Ackman didn’t mince words when he appeared on the Lex Fridman Podcast, making it crystal clear that he believes the president is a national embarrassment and that only his monstrous ego is keeping him clinging to power.
Taking to the airwaves, Ackman didn’t dance around his feelings about Biden, bluntly stating that it’s an outright embarrassment for the country to have Biden as the president, let alone as a candidate for the highest office in the land. The billionaire didn’t sugarcoat his assessment, calling it crazy and predicting that it’s only going to get worse. Ackman didn’t stop there, emphasizing that Biden’s refusal to step aside is directly attributable to his massive ego, which he believes is tarnishing his legacy and the country’s standing on the world stage.

Not content with just airing his grievances, Ackman went on to claim that he’s been inundated with messages from people around the globe decrying the lack of competence at the highest levels of the U.S. government. In Ackman’s eyes, the presidency requires an individual who’s in peak physical and mental shape, likening the role to a challenging athletic competition. He lambasted Biden and asserted that the current president has fallen far short of meeting these standards, resulting in a cringe-worthy and deteriorating situation for the nation.
To top it off, Ackman asserted that Biden is effectively handing the 2024 election to Trump by refusing to step aside and allow other, more capable candidates to take the lead. Despite his disdain for the current administration, Ackman expressed optimism about alternative candidates such as Rep. Dean Phillips (D-MN), who he believes could offer a viable path forward. However, he cautioned that time is running out to salvage the situation, placing much of the blame on Biden’s wife and family for failing to intervene and guide the president towards an exit strategy.
And that’s not all! It’s worth noting that Ackman has been making waves in both political and academic circles as of late, aligning himself with the Democratic party as a major donor but subsequently souring on their response to international conflicts. In addition, he had a hand in spearheading the successful effort to oust Claudine Gay from her role as president of Harvard. With his unvarnished take on Biden and his track record of getting things done, it’s clear that Ackman isn’t one to shy away from controversy or confrontation.
