Hunter Biden’s legal team is not happy about their plea deal being exposed and attacked by Judge Maryellen Noreika. They had hoped to have a wink-and-nod deal for global immunity to protect Hunter Biden from future prosecutions, but the judge wasn’t buying it. She pressed the prosecutors and uncovered that there was no precedent for such a deal. After two hours of questioning, the whole thing blew up.
It’s no surprise that Hunter Biden’s team is fuming over this. They thought they had it in the bag, colluding with the DOJ to get a deal that would let Hunter off the hook for any future crimes unrelated to his tax evasion. But Judge Noreika did her job and questioned the terms of the deal, exposing its unconstitutionality. And now Hunter Biden’s team is attacking the judge personally.

It’s ironic that they are attacking the judge for chaos when the only reason things got chaotic was because of the corruption by Hunter Biden and the DOJ. They tried to game the system with broad immunity, hidden in the plea deal. But the judge saw through their ruse and did what she had to do. It’s unclear what will happen next, but it’s likely they will work out another plea deal because they don’t want this to go to trial. The evidence against Hunter Biden is overwhelming.
