A flashy Chinese Communist Party-linked battery manufacturing giant, Gotion Inc., is throwing a hissy fit in Big Rapids, Michigan. The company is suing Stephan Fenstermacher, a local Michigander, in a scramble to kick him off land where they plan to construct their pricey $2.4 billion plant. Talk about rolling out the red (or should we say, “Communist red”) carpet!

Now, you might be wondering, why is this a big deal? Gotion Inc., a spawn of the Chinese-based Gotion High-Tech, is all set to plop down its plant in Big Rapids. But hold onto your MAGA hats, because Fenstermacher, who sold them the land, is currently camping out on the property as per their agreement. But Gotion has finally twigged that having him around cramps their style, and they’re gunning to boot him out.
The root of the brouhaha lies in Gotion accusing Fenstermacher of flouting their deal. They claim he let the land go to seed, messed with the property without giving them a heads-up, and even had the audacity to host guests without a golden ticket from the landlord! Can you believe that? It’s like a soap opera, but instead of “days of our lives,” it’s “days of our land.”
Adding fuel to the fire is the fact that Gotion High-Tech, their big boss, ain’t just any company. Nope, they’ve got their mitts elbow-deep in the Chinese Communist Party cookie jar.
