Former President Donald Trump is not afraid to shake things up in the political world, and his latest plans are no exception. As the GOP presidential debate in Milwaukee approaches, Trump has decided to take matters into his own hands and launch his own counter-program in response. Talk about sticking it to the establishment!
According to sources close to the former president, Trump is feeling quite confident heading into next week, which is why he has chosen to skip the opportunity to join his rivals on the debate stage. Instead, he has been brainstorming ideas for some epic counter programming. One idea that has been thrown around is an interview with none other than Tucker Carlson, the conservative heavyweight from Fox News. Hey, why not give the people what they want?

This move by Trump comes as no surprise considering his ongoing feud with Fox News and its owner, Rupert Murdoch. In fact, Fox News executives recently traveled to Trump’s golf course in New Jersey to try and persuade him to participate in the debate. Talk about begging! But Trump saw right through their desperation and realizing he’s already leading in the polls, he decided to give them the cold shoulder.
Now, if Trump does decide to show up to the debate at the last minute, there’s a big question mark about whether the Republican National Committee (RNC) would even allow it. They’ve made it clear that all participants must sign a “loyalty pledge” to support the eventual GOP nominee. But Trump, being the rebel that he is, has refused to sign it. He believes he’s already so far ahead in the race that he doesn’t need to play by their rules.
And you know what? He’s probably right. With all the media attention on his supposed criminal indictments by the Democrats and the Biden Justice Department, Trump’s support among GOP primary voters is through the roof. In fact, he’s leading by an unbelievable 47 points over President Joe Biden. That’s a massive lead!
So, while the other candidates may be duking it out on the debate stage, Trump will be busy making his own waves with his counter-programming. Love him or hate him, you can’t deny that he knows how to keep things interesting. The political establishment better brace themselves because Trump isn’t going anywhere. And you can bet he’s got a few more tricks up his sleeve. Stay tuned!
