Rep. Derrick Van Orden (R-WI) and Rep. Mark Pocan (D-WI) are back at it again, folks! This time, the two Wisconsin representatives are butting heads over Van Orden’s bold heckle during President Biden’s State of the Union address. As President Biden was delivering his speech, he took a swing at former President Trump, claiming that Trump “failed the most basic presidential duty that he owes to the American people: the duty to care.” Well, Van Orden couldn’t hold back and shouted “Lies!” in response to Biden’s jab.

Now, Rep. Pocan didn’t take too kindly to Van Orden’s outburst. In a statement, Pocan called out Van Orden for his behavior, citing previous incidents, including a heated moment with Senate pages at the Capitol last summer. Pocan expressed concern about Van Orden’s “temperament and perhaps his soberness.” Yikes! Shots fired, but not the kind Van Orden likes.
Van Orden, for his part, didn’t hold back either. He slammed Biden’s address as a “campaign speech” and criticized the lack of honesty and transparency. He stood with the American people, highlighting their struggles with stagnant paychecks and safety concerns in their communities.
It seems like these two representatives just can’t see eye to eye, and it’s heating up faster than a cheese curd in the fryer. Stay tuned for more drama from the Wisconsin political showdown!
