One year after the Safer Communities Act was passed, President Joe Biden renewed his call for stricter gun control. He noted that a "tipping point" has been reached regarding the issue. At the same time, he was the featured speaker at a summit organized by liberal elites, who believe that guns don't need to be in the hands of law-abiding citizens.
In response to the mass shootings that occurred in Las Vegas, Biden stated that he and his fellow Democrats support the idea of keeping families safe. However, he added that taking away the Second Amendment isn’t the solution.
Despite the lack of support from both parties, Biden has issued over 20 executive orders aimed at restricting the access to guns for law-abiding citizens. It is clear that he is not interested in advancing his gun-control agenda despite the Republican majority in Congress.

He used the bully pulpit to try and convince others to do what he wants. This won't work, but it will not stop him from trying. Whether Republicans or Democrats agree with him, we won't remove the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens.
In his speech at the Safer Communities Summit held in Connecticut, Biden praised the individuals who attended the event. However, instead of addressing the issues that he believes in, he delivered a message to a group of liberal elites who believe that the government knows best for the people.
Law-abiding citizens are better off with their guns because they can protect themselves against people who don't respect gun laws. The Second Amendment protects our freedom. Despite Biden's claims that his policies will make the country safer, the reality isn't the same.
