Trump Fights Back in Hush Money Scuffle: Appeal Underway!

Former President Donald Trump and his legal team are not backing down in the face of the hush-money case brought against him by the radical left-backed Manhattan district attorney, Alvin Bragg. Bragg, who is funded by the infamous George Soros, has charged Trump with a ridiculous 34 felony counts of falsifying business records. Talk about desperation!

According to the Washington Times, Bragg is accusing Trump of “falsifying business records to hide reimbursements made to his longtime personal lawyer Michael Cohen.” These reimbursements were supposedly made by Trump to Cohen for his involvement in Stormy Daniels’ scandalous allegations. But let’s be real here, folks. Trump paying off a porn star? That sounds more like a Saturday Night Live skit than a legitimate court case.

Of course, Trump is denying all of these outlandish claims. He insists that he never had any sexual relations with Stormy Daniels or Playboy model Karen McDougal, and he certainly didn’t pay Cohen to cover anything up. He has pled not guilty to the charges, and rightly so.

Legal experts, even those who don’t particularly care for Trump, have criticized the flimsiness of Bragg’s case against him. They argue that these charges are nothing more than a desperate attempt to smear the former president’s reputation. And they’re right.

Despite Trump’s efforts to transfer the case to federal court, U.S. District Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein rejected his request, forcing him to face the trial in state court. But that hasn’t deterred Trump. His legal team has filed an appeal with the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan, because they are determined to fight for justice.

It’s no secret that Manhattan is an overwhelmingly Democratic area. Trump is simply trying to ensure that he receives a fair trial, free from bias and political influence. His attempts to have Judge Juan Manuel Merchan step aside due to his clear connections to the Democratic Party are just a part of his strategy to level the playing field.

So mark your calendars, folks. Trump is set to stand trial in state court on March 25, 2024. But before that, there will be a series of battles over preliminary issues, including the venue. Let’s hope that fairness and justice prevail in the end, and that this baseless case against Trump is finally put to rest.
